The Montgomery County Chapter of the Blue Star Mothers will cook
up beans and cornbread Thursday to support the troops during its
annual Bean Dinner.
Lynn Ringis, a member of the group, said the dinner has become an
annual tradition with area residents. Ringis said between 200 and
300 people took part in the dinner last year.
