Certificate of Appreciation – Martin Erickson
While many people volunteer to make the "Stockings for Our Troops" endeavor a success, Marty Erickson has taken this project to heart, pledging to conduct this venture annually until our military comes home. Not only does Marty encourage employees to participate, he purchases cards as well as the stockings to be filled. Traveling throughout the city to collect donated items, he ensures they are received by The Blue Star Mothers for assembly. Marty also coordinates a bake sale to raise funds to assist with the cost of shipping the stockings to our troops.

The Philadelphia chapter of Blue Star Mothers spent an afternoon this week packing care packages for our troops overseas.
