"The Kingwood Chamber of Commerce celebrated heroes with a lunch at the Nathaniel Center on Wednesday, July 2. The event recognizes heroes from the past and present at the annual lunch, which honors the lives of military families. Among those in attendance were Chamber members, the Blue Star Moms and Wayne Garrison, candidate for Houston City Council, District E."
Blue Star Mom Nancy Foisner’s son, Rick, was in the Air Force for four and a half years and was stationed in Korea, Germany and Qatar as a munitions expert. To celebrate the return of her son, Foisner went skydiving with her family.
“It’s nice to hear people appreciate the service of the military,” Foisner said. “You can never show too much appreciation.”
