Blue Star Moms collect toiletry items for troops - Marin Independent Journal: "Packaged foods and toiletry items for military personnel care packages will be collected between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday in front of Safeway at the Hamilton Marketplace in Ignacio.
The effort is organized by Blue Star Moms of Marin, which can provide a list of needed items to shoppers before they head into the store. Items will be shipped to military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan.
