Military Mothers Feted At Dinner

"A dinner was recently given at College of the Canyons in the newly remodeled Student Center cafeteria honoring Blue and Gold Star Mothers, Prayer Angels For the Military and military families living in the Santa Clarita Valley. The dinner was prepared and served by American Mothers, Inc., which is the official sponsor of Mother's Day here in the United States.
Guests of honor enjoyed a program which began with the U.S. Coast Guard presenting the Flag Ceremony. Army Veteran, Rodrigo Ceja touched hearts as he expressed gratitude to be back home alive and thanked the many supporters. This was followed by the song, "God Bless America", sung by Stacey Sanders."

It seems that a certain lady, (Diane Miller), had made a beautiful quilt
top and decided to donate it to charity, but did not know which one.
Shortly afterwards, Myrna Condie called and asked if Diane knew of someone who
could help make a quilt for the Blue and Gold Star Mothers to present at the
upcoming dinner.
