Briefs, July 10, 2009: "Group seeks musical instruments for vets
The Grand Valley Blue Star Mothers organization seeks applications from any veteran or active duty service member who is interested in obtaining a musical instrument through the Operation Melody program.
Wounded personnel, including men or women suffering post-traumatic stress disorder, will receive priority, but all applications will be considered.
Grand Valley Blue Star Mothers is in possession of several instruments and needs to start building its inventory. Donations of instruments are welcome."
