"Donations sought for care packages
Wi-Kids Youth Group of Mercy Housing in Wheatland is accepting donations for care packages being prepared for local deployed troops.
All packages will be mailed through Tri Counties Blue Star Moms.
A donation bin is available at Settler's Village Market, 1912 Highway 65, Suite 100, in Wheatland.
In addition, the youth group is hosting a booth and special activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the market."
