Eastern Carolina families with loved ones serving in the armed forces have a new way to support each other.
The newly formed group's members have a common thread, they are all mothers.
Anne Parker, who has a son and daughter serving in the military, is the driving force behind the Grand Strand chapter of Blue Star Mothers of America, said the group’s members are mostly women who have children serving in the military."
