"It's time for the second annual Freedom Fest and beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday Milligan Park will be the pace to be.
The event, which was a huge success last year according to Gayle Sosbe, president of the local Blue Star Mothers, will likely be bigger and better than last year.
"We learned some things last year as it was our first time," Sosbe said. "That, plus the fact more people know about it this year we hope will translate to a bigger crowd and more participation."The day will begin with a solemn ceremony to honor and remember those who died on 9-11. That ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and will kick off the day's events. Following the ceremony there will be a "patriotic march" around the park."We will be hard to miss," Sosbe said. "We will be waving our flags and showing everyone we are proud." "
