The Journal Review: "Lebanon's Terri Batts spoke from the heart as she addressed the crowd at Saturday’s Blue Star Mothers Freedom Festival at Milligan Park.
She told the story of her son, U.S. Army Spc. Joey Strong, and how she learned that he gave his life in Iraq fighting for his country.
“My life forever changed that day,” she said of the day after Christmas of 2006, when two military officers knocked on her door with her son’s papers."
