JACKSONVILLE, FL -- A First Coast mother is watching the fires in Southern California closely. 'I can't even imagine the terror that those people are going through,' said Debbie Douglass. Her son and his family live in San Diego. 'I was nervous wreck, because my first thought was, 'Where is Michel?'' said Douglass. Her son, Michel Bowidowicz, is at Qualcomm Stadium. Bowidowicz, 33, is the acting director of the Community Emergency Response Team, also known as C.E.R.T. His job is to manage the 860 volunteers who are helping the evacuees temporarily living at the stadium. Douglass is a Blue Star mom. So, with two sons who've served in the military, she's been through times like this before. She'll tell you that the hardest part is not knowing. 'I just needed to hear where he was. I had no idea what he was doing at that point,' said Douglass."
