Ken Henshaw, spokesman for the Veterans Workforce Investment Program, said there will be five bands each performing music familiar during different conflicts: World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Operation Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. “The theme is music that brought us through,” he said. “It’s music that was popular when we were in the service, that we used to write home to our wives about. Music touches people.” Henshaw said the concert will be held from 7 p.m. to midnight Nov. 10, the day of the Veterans Parade."
